Privacy Policy

This policy covers thecuriousages.com and Curious Ages Uploader, the private tool we use to publish videos to our own YouTube channel. "We" means the people who run The Curious Ages.

This website

• The site has no accounts, forms, comments, advertising or analytics, and sets no cookies of its own.
• It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard connection data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Video files under clips.thecuriousages.com are short clips of our own videos, hosted only so our scheduling service can post them.

Curious Ages Uploader and Google user data

Curious Ages Uploader uses YouTube API Services. It is used only by the channel's owners, signed in to The Curious Ages Google account. It requests two permissions:

• Manage your YouTube videos (youtube.upload): to upload our videos and set their title, description, tags, thumbnail, category, audience setting and scheduled publish time.
• View your YouTube account (youtube.readonly): to confirm it is signed in to The Curious Ages channel before uploading.

How the data is handled:

• The sign-in token is stored only on our own computer. It is never sent to us, to a server, or to anyone else.
• The tool does not collect, store, sell or share any personal information, and it does not access any other person's account or data.
• Data from Google APIs is not used for advertising and is not transferred to third parties.
• Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

By using YouTube API Services through this tool, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page.

Children

Our content is family-safe but is not directed at children, and neither the site nor the tool knowingly collects information from children.
